The Glitne Apartments project in Umea is constructed on top of an existing retail center. In order to build as light as possible cross laminated wood was used as construction material for the 49 apartments in combination with painted aluminium for the facade. BIG architects choose our EuraFlon FEVE 2L in Graphite Black to make the building stand out, but at the same time fit in with the existing buildings in the area.
