In March 2020 we did our last check-up of the Ferrari World roof in Abu Dhabi. This project was probably the most iconic we have ever done and will do for a long time. The exciting combination of great innovative architecture, the sheer size of the roof (> 250k square meters), the high gloss Ferrari red color and the very harsh environment with the Red sea in close proximity, desert sand and high sun intensity made this a project that stands out. Our PVDF 4L finishes perform well however. Compared to other painted elements on the roof like walkways, the color still performs exceptionally well. We were confident that our solution would work also in the long run and now, 10 years later are very satisfied still with the result!
