Handcrafted standing seam systems have a long tradition. Panels run vertically up the length of the roofs and are lock-seamed together by hand or simple machinery. The system is generally used for small to medium size roofs (up to 2.000 sqm). Larger surfaces are mostly equipped with the automated standing seam lock systems.
T type classic standing seam is identified by its adjacent panel edges which are bent leaving a horizontal ridge, then folded over the adjacent panel edge to form a tight joint. Joints are closed manually or closed with light machinery.
