The Mercedes Benz Arena (formerly known as World expo Cultural Center) was built for the Shanghai world expo 2010. Its oval shape resembles a flying saucer that seems to have landed from outer space. The pearlescent, high-gloss, EuraMica finish gives the building a crisp, fresh exterior. At night, especially, the light reflection makes the Culture Center a mystifying landmark.

The XXL honeycomb panels have a width up to 3.000 mm and are triangular shaped. A custom pearl like "Pearl White Expo" color has been custom developed for the project.
